Music plays an important role in any wedding ceremony (whether religious, civil or humanist) and choosing the right music can, in some cases, be quite a daunting task…

Provided in our Wedding Ceremony Service is an unlimited amount of music - you literally can have as much music as you want!
Processional, Signing of the Register & Recessional
Generally speaking there are three "Key Points" during your ceremony that traditionally require music...
Processional
This is maybe the most poignant musical choice of the ceremony (and where most tears are shed...). Reflective, quirky or romantic - if it is the music you want then it will be the perfect.
Signing of the Register
We would encourage you to pick at least two songs for the signing of the register - it really depends on your photographer as to how long this will take so best to have some music you have chosen if it is taking a little longer than expected.
Recessional
This is the moment the newly married couple exit so something upbeat works really well!
In a Wedding Mass there are several additional points that can have music to accompany (Offertory, Sign of Peace, Communion etc). If you are unsure of where these points might be, we are always on hand to help answer any questions. We can also provide the music for any hymns to be sung during the ceremony. We have a 400+ collection of hymns so just get in touch and we can guide you from there.
For the party afterwards, our extensive playlist will ensure that every musical taste is covered - and our free “USQ Jukebox” service means everyone can get involved by choosing what they want us to perform!

We can also provide additional musicians should you so wish. We regularly play with the leading lights of the music scene in Northern Ireland. Whatever instrumentation, we can help cater for any ensemble you want.
Should you wish to have a singer perform at your wedding look no further - The Ulster String Quartet are proud to have an exclusive relationship with nationally renowned soprano Rebekah Coffey.
Rebekah has appeared as soloist with many leading orchestras including the Ulster Orchestra, the Hallé, BBC Concert Orchestra and RTÉ Symphony Orchestra as well as on the opera stage with the likes of English Touring Opera and Northern Ireland Opera Company. We have many songs already specially arranged for Rebekah to sing with us - from Classical & Opera through to Film & Pop classics, many of which are available to enjoy on our YouTube channel and anything we do not have we can arrange it specially for you.
