Formed by Ulster Orchestra violinist Danny McCann-Williams in Belfast in 2010, the Ulster String Quartet has gone onto become one of the leading string quartets around and we have been mesmerising audiences and adding our special touch and expertise to weddings, special occasions and corporate events across Northern and Southern Ireland.
Using only the best freelance professional musicians, our reputation as one of the leading performing groups is long established - together with our excellent, friendly customer service.
We have collaborated with some of the leading recording artists, singer songwriters and music producers here in NI both and are equally at home both in the studio and performing live on stage.

All our correspondence, from your first enquiry up to the day itself, is with Danny - whether via email, phone-call or social media, Danny is on hand to help answer questions and guide you through the creative process - ensuring you have your perfect soundtrack to your event.
Danny is also behind many of our string arrangements - both for live events and our collaborations and recordings. Using the latest Sibelius and Logic Pro software, Danny can recreate your favourite songs to be performed on your special day/event as well as provide the perfect strings for any recordings.
As well as writing string arrangements, Danny has also orchestrated music for prestigious performances including the London Welsh Festival of male Voices at the Royal Albert hall in London.
